Stains

Simply spot clean as needed with room temperature water and a mild detergent, if necessary. Do not starch or use any harsh chemicals unless necessary to remove the stain. You can get stains out of a suit jacket by taking it to the dry cleaners and you should save this trip only for major emergencies.

DRY CLEANING

Dry cleaning should be limited. Did you know that frequent dry cleanings will cause wear and tear? In addition it will alter the feel of your suit garments over time. We recommend dry cleaning your suit once a year but no more than twice a year.

Caring for Custom Suits

STEAMING

A steamer is a great item that you can use on all of your clothes, not just your suits. You can steam your suits before hanging them up to air dry. This is a fantastic way to quickly refresh your suit and it will reduce any odors and will eliminate any wrinkles.

HANGERS

Make sure to use a wooden suit hanger that has the shape of your jacket – that way your suit jacket won’t get wrinkled and wood will absorb moisture from the fabric.

BUTTONS

Our buttons are primarily made of horn or real mother-of-pearls and are susceptible to breaking when washed with heavy machinery.
